What Parents Say...
"I was surprised by the depth of these books. There's more to them than just making and saving money . My oldest daughter really liked the characters and I didn't need to nudge her to finish reading the books. I've noticed it's really changed her perspective because she regularly gets inspired and tells us about different plans she has to save money."

Why should my kids learn about making and saving money?

Over the next 10 years, AI and automation will take away jobs from all walks of life including doctors, lawyers and programmers… Money making (and financial IQ) are one of the key skills not taught in schools. In the future, the best opportunities will be in innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship and likely traditional blue collar “trades”.

Knowing how to make money provides you with options and stability in a volatile and uncertain world. It’s not going to get easier! Even if someone decides to go to college for a licensed profession such as medicine, law, architecture or engineering, without a business mindset, it’s doubtful that person will successfully set up shop on their own. These are invaluable skills (and “street smarts”) that should be taught early in life.

Do any schools use them?

Not yet. However, we have a market research firm lined up and are looking for schools interested in doing a study. We have optional workbooks that go with each novel. These workbooks contain reading comprehension questions along with questions related to life and business lessons, financial intelligence and vocabulary building.

The research design we are planning is to A/B test several English classrooms with and without the books (and workbooks) and then to prove that using these FUN books increases reading comprehension compared to a conventional curriculum. If that’s the case, could we eventually turn English classes into entrepreneurship classes? That would the author’s dream.

How long do the novels take to read?

A typical adult novel has at least 70,000 words. Based on testing with his own kids, the author wanted a book that was easily approachable. These books tend to have around 20,000 words or so. A 12-year-old can read each of the novels in about 2 hours. There’s also a vocabulary list with definitions at the end so that no meaning is lost with unfamiliar words.

What’s the age range?

These books are meant for kids ages 8 to 14. They could also be read to kids ages 5 to 7. And with the audiobooks, all ages can easily benefit!

Should I read these books with my kids?
If you’d like to make the process more interactive and philosophical, feel free to read these books aloud with your kids or read them on your own to then have a deeper discussion. Or simply play the audiobooks in the car!

What kind of parents buy this?

These books appeal to two sets of parents. On the one-hand, hardworking individuals who make society work and who know that being responsible requires sacrifice such as saving for the future, investing time in learning or taking initiative to get ahead. Then there are parents who are entrepreneurs, managers and leaders who also love these books.

Many entrepreneurs felt isolated as kids without any guidance to magnify their money-making impulses (i.e ability to recognize a problem/opportunity and provide a solution... as well as not be reckless with money and save it). These books are what was missing. In the same sense, many self-made entrepreneurs wish they could give their kids the gift of hardship - the proverbial chip on the shoulder that made them successful.

When your kids have everything and every advantage, they just might not feel any motivation. These books were meant to inspire such kids. After all, the father of the Miller Moguls is a successful entrepreneur who was fed up with his spoiled kids and took away their allowance in order to see if they’d learn responsibility and self-sufficiency on their own. He then motivated them with a savings challenge because delayed gratification takes many forms such as saving money, saving calories (i.e. cookies), and saving time by planning ahead.

What’s your return policy?

We have a 30-day money back guarantee. No questions asked.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping generally takes 3 to 5 business days.

Can I buy them on Amazon?

Not yet! We are currently self-publishing but will eventually make the series available there and in stores.

Do you have a digital version?

The author reads books almost exclusively on his Kindle. He has thousands of books there that now don’t take up a library-sized space at home. That said, he believes kids in this age group would benefit more from an activity without screen time and doesn’t want to publish an ebook at this time.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Please be aware that you may be assessed custom duties which we cannot control.

Dan Roitman is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of MindFinity, but his journey to success wasn’t a straight line. In college, Dan learned the value of saving and financial responsibility firsthand. While working 20 hours a week out of necessity, he laid the foundation for what would eventually allow him to take a big risk—launching his first company.

It wasn't easy. Dan ended up $70,000 in credit card debt and had to move back in with his parents before his business finally took off. That hard-earned experience taught him a crucial lesson: saving and smart money management are the keys to creating opportunities and weathering life’s ups and downs.

Dan went on to build a $100 million company and was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012. But after becoming a dad, he realized schools weren’t teaching kids the financial skills they need to succeed—like saving, setting goals, and managing money wisely.

That’s why he wrote the Miller Moguls, a fun and engaging fiction series to help kids develop the same savings habits and practical skills that fueled the seeds of his success. Dan’s mission is to equip kids with the tools and life skills to thrive in an unpredictable world, whether they pursue a job, entrepreneurship or any dream they choose.
